User management
User management is done in the Administration → Users section of the platform. It lets you create accounts, assign roles to them and delete access.
Before you begin
- Company Owner: create, edit, delete users and assign roles.
- Advanced Builder: edit existing users and assign roles (no creation or deletion).
| Action | Company Owner | Advanced Builder | Other roles |
|---|---|---|---|
| Create a user | ✅ | ❌ | ❌ |
| Delete a user | ✅ | ❌ | ❌ |
| Edit an existing user | ✅ | ✅ | ❌ |
| Assign or change a role | ✅ | ✅ | ❌ |
Choose the role best suited to the need: see Roles and permissions to understand the per-environment scope before granting access.
View the list
- Click Users in the menu.
Create a user
Restricted to Company Owners.
- Click Add a user.
- Fill in the form:
| Field | Required? | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Email address | Yes | Sign-in identifier and contact channel for the user. |
| First name | Depending on the policy | Identifies the user in the interface; completes the last name. |
| Last name | Depending on the policy | Identifies the user in the interface; completes the first name. |
| Role | Yes | Role assigned to the user — see Available roles. |
- Click Save.
Edit a user and assign a role
- Open the user.
- Edit the information (first name, last name, email address) if needed.
- Choose one or more roles: Viewer, Builder, Advanced Builder, Exploitation or Company Owner — see Available roles.
- Click Save.
The new role(s) apply immediately: the user sees the screens and actions corresponding to the union of their permissions (Development, Other environments, Production).
Assign the minimum set of roles matching the business need: a building integrator does not need the Company Owner role; an ops team can make do with Exploitation for Production. Roles are cumulative: combine them rather than granting an overly broad role.
Delete a user
Restricted to Company Owners.
Deleting a user immediately removes all their access to the platform. This action is irreversible.
- Open the user.
- Click Delete.
- Confirm the deletion.
What you get
- A created user appears in the list and can sign in with the assigned role.
- A deleted user immediately loses access to the platform.
