Manage entries

This guide describes the management of a dictionary's entries (key–value pairs).

Add an entry

  1. Open the dictionary
  2. Click Add
  3. Fill in the key and the value (possibly per environment)
  4. Click Save or ↵ Enter
Masking a sensitive value

For an API key, a token or a password, enable the masking of the value: it then displays as asterisks in the interface while remaining resolved normally in workflows. Masked values are referenced like any other, via {{dictionaries.dictionaryName.keyName}}.

Edit an entry

  1. Open the dictionary
  2. Double-click the entry to edit
  3. Modify the value
  4. Click Save or ↵ Enter

Multiline values

For certificates, private keys or long text blocks, multiline input is supported:

  • ↵ Enter: saves the value
  • Shift + ↵ Enter: inserts a line break in the cell

A visual indicator signals the save state (success or error) of each cell.

Private key format

For a private key or a certificate, respect the exact format: the -----BEGIN …----- marker on a first line, the key on a single line, then the -----END …----- marker on a last line. Use Shift + ↵ Enter to insert the line breaks.

Delete an entry

  1. Open the dictionary
  2. Delete next to the entry
  3. Confirm
